For people considering making the switch to electric, the key to helping them feel comfortable is being able to ask questions and take a test drive with a local EV owner. I’ve personally seen the power of this. More than once, people have become Rochester’s newest EV owner within a week of a meeting and test drive.
So Rochester Electric Vehicles is proud to launch our new Free EV Test Drives program. We are looking for local EV owners like your self that want to be a resource to the next wave of EV adopters.
How The Free EV Test Drive Program Works
Rochester community members interested in making the switch to electric can sign up on the Rochester Electric Vehicles website to do a test drive with the type of EV they’re interested in. They will get connected with a local EV owner to meet, answer questions, and do a quick test drive.
Why Use Local EV Owners & Not Dealerships?
We want to make it as easy as possible to experience an EV. Local dealerships can provide test drives, but inventory can be limited and infrequent, and a salesperson’s first priority is to make a sale and not necessarily educate. We want to provide an easy way to experience an EV and get questions answers BEFORE purchasing your electric car.
